AfD nomination of Long Island Crossing[edit]

An editor has nominated Long Island Crossing, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Long Island Crossing and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 18:00, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Pennsylvania bike paths, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Pennsylvania bike paths has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Pennsylvania bike paths, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 14:01, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PARd participants list[edit]

As discussed at WT:USRD, the participants list at WP:USRD is being split by state. Since your name has multiple states next to it, "PA" has been removed from your name the large USRD-wide table, and your name has been added to the PA-specific table. This is part of the lengthy process. If this is in error, please let me know immediately. Regards, Rschen7754 (T C) 05:35, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for reviewing the Wyoming Valley roads template that I created and doing the hard work of adding it to each of the individual articles! Do you think that additional templates like this are wanted for other regions in Pennsylvania? -- Saaga (talk) 03:49, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi... this is more of a curiosity for me personally and less of a Wikipedia question. Do you know if this is marked anywhere? I know the area where I live (Pike Creek) doesn't seem to have any of it marked and, in fact, it apparently goes down a road without any shoulder let alone one good enough for a bike and then cuts through into a neighborhood... gren グレン 10:53, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I actually went on a trip to find the route and found a few of the signs. Just, they are usually only when the lane turns onto another road--which is actually pretty frequent up around here. I was suspecting something more robust. Thanks. gren グレン 21:51, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for all the work related to Brandywine Creek (Christina River)[edit]

Thanks.

I'm not at all in tune with what User:LeheckaG has done, but couldn't think of a reason that he can't do that (e.g. create several more Brandywine Creek articles). I've kept in touch with him a couple of times but ... It looks to me like a mess that you (and a couple of others) have started to clean up.

Thanks again and sorry for any confusion.

A New Jerseyan needed for User:Mitchazenia/County challenge[edit]

Since NJ has 21 counties, I was gonna ask if you wanted to join US Roads' newest competition - Its really fun. Its called the County challenge. It'll help article sizes, and should benefit projects. I hope you could, you'd be good competition.Mitch32(UP) 03:09, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I should mention a few rules - No county routes is one thing - and all the articles must be your work - I see some of the articles I did. They must be C or lower to count.Mitch32(UP) 20:28, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, Dough.

I just wanted to give you the heads-up; I reviewed the article, and left my comments on the talk page.

NJ collaboration?[edit]

I'm happy that we have a new New Jersey contributor, and a good one I must say. That one is you. I was wondering if you'd like to start doing NJ collaborations with me? It may be good for us. Also, US Roads has an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) channel at #wikipedia-en-roads on the Freenode network. Here is a client made by Freenode that you can use if you're interested. I live in Jersey and sort of need someone to work with.Mitch32(UP) 18:01, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just sign a username in that client and type in the channel name as I put it - you're on IRC easily - use Dough4872 so I recognize you. (that's for IRC) - as per the collab - if you get in - I'll tell you there.Mitch32(UP) 18:33, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
