Hi Donnie Park, I see that you are working on an RC10 page in you userspace that was taken down from the main space. I am very interested in getting all of the important historical RC Car facts up here on Wikipedia. Please let me know in my Talk Section if there is anything I can do to help in getting this page ready for the main section.DroneKing (talk) 15:10, 21 January 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 30

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Automobile Year, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bertone. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

  • Wikipedia can be very frustrating at times and I totally get why you must be feeling discouraged. I hope that you decide against retiring cause we need editors like you and it would be such a shame to see a dedicated person like you leave because someone acted like a jerk. Again, thank you for your edits and congratulations on the award :) Yash! 13:21, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
Yash! Thanks a lot. but one more thing to interest you with in regards to him. Donnie Park (talk) 13:23, 31 January 2016 (UTC)

Is your Wiki-Journey really over? Are you going to let the naysayers win? What if your Wiki-experience had taken a slightly different course? Maybe what you need is a new direction, a new sandbox to play in (so to speak), a new set of priorities. I can't prove it but I KNOW that if a person merely changes their mind, they change their experience. Most editors start with high hopes, high purpose, high regards for others. Each Wiki-life is different but for some, sadly, the roads traveled have led to the same place; they suffer some negative involvement and they become discontented and disheartened. Wikipedia's design flaw is the same as any open free society. It can not always control the actions of its citizens/members. There exist trolls, loud mouthed oafs, over-zealous "trigger happy" editors and administrators, editors whose only wish is cause discomfort and strife: all are enemies of Wiki-Wonderful, all have a negative effect on "the neighborhood". Editor Retention pays attention to the "Lost Souls" that become discouraged and "move out of the neighborhood". The analogy to a neighborhood is accurate. If we are not vigilant, quality editors like yourself leave the site and their efforts are lost. The time spent focused on your nemesis is wasted time, for the most part. It is better to move forward. The value of an editor that gives up and leaves cannot be measured. Remember what made you happy. Do that and the negative interactions will disappear. I like to think not yet but thanks for the advice. Donnie Park (talk) 18:33, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
