If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tony Capman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Please help me with...

I am working on a page for Tony Capman. It was flagged for speedy deletion. I dont understand what i am doing wrong

Your page falls severely into the "work in progress" category. If you are working on a page about someone, you should create a draft using the Article Wizard. Drafts are a place where an editor can work on a page in their own time, without worrying about it being nominated for deletion because it's incomplete. However, drafts eventually need to meet the requirements of the Golden Rule before they can be approved and made into a normal article. I highly suggest reading through Your first article and the Tutorial. If you want more help, stop by the Teahouse, Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 03:53, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Greetings! The problem is that you haven't made clear how Capman is a significant or important singer (in his own right). Not every recording artist is significant enough for an article. Please review WP:NMUSIC for information on what criteria a musician should meet to have an article. —C.Fred (talk) 03:54, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
