Most Liked Tweets[edit]

Hi Deldred, since you are a regualr and consistent contributor for this page, I would like to ask for a favour. For the edits on the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most-liked_tweets please order entries with the same amount of likes by date, newest first to promote the most accurate and up to date information since it is easier to gain likes over a longer period of time. Because undoubtedly older tweets have a much longer time to gain the same amount of likes than newer ones. It is with regret that I have to send this as I am personally too inexperienced to make edits to the page.

Thus, number 8 should be above the current number six and below number 7 given their publish dates. Similarly, Ellen's grammy tweet should be listed as number 15 instead. Thanks in advance! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hopewithhoseok (talkcontribs) 10:36, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Hopewithhoseokv: I made this change. Hopefully people are ok with it and don't change it back. -- Deldred (talk) 04:40, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

eBooks links[edit]

Can you please provide a rationale as to why you're adding links to the specific ebooks site that you've been linking? I asked at MOS:NOVEL and while including a well-known site such as Project Gutenberg or such might be acceptable, the links you're adding appear to be bordering on promotional. Thank you. @Doniago: Thank you for asking, and for making sure Wikipedia is ethically edited. I consider Standard Ebooks to be an important project in literature, and not just merely a website where one can get an ebook. They are unique from Project Gutenberg in that they also use public domain artwork for their covers. Being a free, open-source effort I feel that its values and goals are aligned with that of Wikipedia's, and as such a noble contribution to humanity. I am not affiliated with the project, and have no incentive to promote them. My inclusion of their works is good faith, similarly to users who link to Project Gutenberg works. I think that possibly the name of the project "Standard Ebooks" may unfortunately not sound like a free, admirable contribution to literary freedom whose values align with Wikipedia's. The site isn't merely a standard eBook publisher, despite the name of the site. I know that I have included links to their works a lot lately. I have done this because of what I believe to be the value that the links add to the Wiki pages. Deldred (talk) 03:30, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I would ask that you get a consensus at MOS:NOVEL before continuing to add links to Standard Ebooks, as at least one other editor seemed to share my concern that it would be more appropriate to use a better-established ebooks project. I looked at Standard Ebooks and the article left me with significant concerns as to whether that platform has achieved enough standing that we should be using it in external links. Thank you for your understanding! DonIago (talk) 06:09, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
