Notability of Fresh Encounter Inc[edit]

A tag has been placed on Fresh Encounter Inc, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jakew 21:22, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss the issue of the store listings on the article's talk page rather than edit warring. Thanks, Postdlf (talk) 01:05, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please also see my comments at User talk:SchuminWeb, where I suggest that a compromise position might be to include a list of the municipalities and the number of locations in each, as I would think the geographic range of a chain store is worth noting? And/or to note important individual store locations in the article, such as the first, the last, the largest, etc. Just some suggestions. But if either of you reverts the other again I'm going to protect the article so you have to discuss it on the talk page. Postdlf (talk) 14:43, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not continue to re-add former store locations to the Big Bear Stores article. Unless you are prepared to cite reliable sources establishing the notability of individual store locations, then the locations are more than likely non-notable and not suitable for inclusion, and potentially unverifiable original research.
