About American journalist[edit]

copy from my talk page:

I can't find English-language sources for that, that's why I transliterate the name from Russian :(. If I find correctly spelled name I'll fix it. --Alexander Widefield (talk) 22:02, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

hello! It was agreed on that the correct number of Russian fatalities was 39- 21 was the number w;ve had for days, then another 18 crop up. One source attempt to say this is for the entire conflict, but considering the fierce fighting and the fact that at least ten of them were killed during the opening stages, it seems unlikely it is just 21. Most sources that gave that number didn't say when it was from, and it was agreed that the death toll is 21+18=39. Someone changed it, then it was changed back. Would you mind either reviewing it or changing it back to 39? Thank you. ShaneMarsh (talk) 22:55, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can't change it myself unfortunately. But you are right, 21 seems to be a pretty small number. -- DanteRay (talk) 22:58, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

map[edit]

This new one is much better. Not as harsh on the eyes haha. I suggest adding your map to the article. Currently their is some foreign language map (don't know which) used on the article, which has no copyright details, so chances it will be deleted soon. I suggest you replace this map with yours. Thanks Ijanderson977 (talk) 06:43, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but unfortunately I can't edit the article ... semi protection etc ... DanteRay (talk) 06:44, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article about war reporting[edit]

Hallo. I'm a journalist writing for Austrian Newspaper "Falter". I'm working on a story about war reporting on Wikipedia (focused on South Ossetia War). I would like to ask you a few questions via email about this subject (concerning neutrality and propaganda on Wikipedia). I would be really pleased, if you agreed to answer my questions. If you are interested just send me a message via my Wikipedia profile. Best regards, Wueddens (talk) 14:51, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
