After militarily occupying Hadiya, many kings of Ethiopia and high-ranking members forcefully married Hadiya women; Queen Eleni of Hadiya is one example. This would result in wars with neighboring Adal Sultanate, who did not take kindly to the atrocities committed by Ethiopia against its fellow Muslim state Hadiya. Your quote is not supported (Hassen) by the source and highly misleading. Dawit S Gondaria (talk) 12:12, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Lemonaka, I have observed that user Dawit S Gondaria has been making edits to the Wikipedia page for Hadiya People that involve falsification and manipulation of information, as well as inclusion of misleading content that lacks credible sources. He has not provided any substantial evidence to counter the information supported by credible sources. He is also engaging in the usage of defamatory terms for public figures of Hadiya People, such as Professor Beyene Petros. This behavior undermines the reliability and accuracy of Wikipedia as a credible source of information. Additionally, the user has been found to be abusing other users and threatening to get them blocked if they remove his unsubstantiated information. This is a clear violation of Wikipedia's policies. I respectfully request an investigation into the actions of this user and for appropriate corrective measures to be taken to address the inaccuracies and violations of policies that have occurred. I have provided credible sources to support the correct information in my previous comments. Cushite (talk) 03:43, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Lemonaka,
Thank you for the intervention. I have noticed that user Dawit S Gondaria has been making edits to the Wikipedia page for Hadiya People that include falsification and manipulation of information, as well as the inclusion of misleading content that is not supported by published sources. He has not provided any substantial evidence to refute the information from published sources. I have provided credible sources to support the correct information in my previous comments. He is also changing the names of public figures of Hadiya People, such as Professor Beyene Petros, into defamatory terms. This behavior seriously undermines the reliability and accuracy of Wikipedia as a source of information. Furthermore, the user is abusing other users and has threatened to get them blocked if they remove his unsubstantiated information. This is a violation of Wikipedia's policies. I kindly request that you investigate the actions of this user and take corrective measures to address the inaccuracies and violations of policy that have occurred.

Will look into this case. Lemonaka (talk) 04:58, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hadiya people. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. 1AmNobody24 (talk) 14:48, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that my actions have been perceived as engaging in an edit war. However, the reality of the situation is that another user has been removing accurate information, supported by peer-reviewed articles and seminal books, in an effort to promote his own political agenda and narrative. Despite my efforts to engage in dialogue and provide multiple references to support the information, the other user has continued to repeatedly change the content back to his preferred version. I also raised this issue with Wikipedia administrators and have received validation that the information I provided is accurate and appropriate for inclusion on the page dedicated to the Hadiya people. I will continue to use the article's talk page to engage in constructive dialogue and seek assistance through appropriate noticeboards or dispute resolution channels, as needed. I will also consider requesting temporary page protection if necessary, to prevent further removal of vetted and valid information. Cushite (talk) 00:04, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

After Checking[edit]

Hi, @Cushite, I believed this case is just a content dispute, please discuss with another editor on the talk page before you take them to WP:ANI, which is likely got yourself blocked. Lemonaka (talk) 08:19, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
