Paid editing and the deleted article

Hi - before going forward with this enquiry, I first want to draw your attention to our paid editing policy - please read it, and comply with the guidance provided there before doing any further work on the article you want to write about your employer. Now, with regard to the previous version, it was deleted as unambiguous advertising (WP:G11). Personally, I wouldn't have deleted it under that criterion - the language was a bit too promotional, but it wasn't so bad that it couldn't have been fixed. More concerning was the sourcing - there was nothing that was reliable, independent and secondary that gave the subject significant depth of coverage. Any article about a company needs sourcing that demonstrates that the subject meets our notability guidelines for companies. Best Girth Summit _(blether) 17:49, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
