Images

Welcome, I notice that you have been uploading many image. Every image must have an image tag so that we know the it is legal to use the file. If you upload a logo then put {{logo}} on the image page. If you have any questions feel free to ask on my talk page. BrokenSegue 22:10, 9 Feb 2005 (UTC)

The logo images you've uploaded are really good quality and they add something to their respective pages...but I don't think you've tagged them correctly. The {{CopyrightedFreeUse}} tag states that an image can be used for any purpose, but The copyright and trademark notice on WWE.com outlines restrictions on the use of WWE's logos. I think we can use them under fair use, but they're better marked with the {{logo}} tag as BrokenSegue suggested. --Chrysaor 18:52, Feb 10, 2005 (UTC)

I re-tagged my images properly, like you wanted =)
Chad1m 20:01, 10 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Thanks dude. I think it'll help. --Chrysaor 20:10, Feb 10, 2005 (UTC)

Blank page

I see that you created then blanked the page You Can't See Me. If you created the page in error, and want it deleted, then you can mark it with {{del}} Matt 18:16, 29 May 2005 (UTC)

Alright, man. Thanks for the heads up. Chad1m 18:25, May 29, 2005 (UTC)

50 GREATEST GAME SHOWS OF ALL TIME

Someone has started a competing page at The 50 Greatest Game Shows of All Time. There do not need to be two pages. YOURS IS MUCH BETTER DONE!!! I think the other article needs to be redirected to yours. Dbart 12:58, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Your RfA

I don't mean to insult you, but you're really not going to succeed. I would suggest withdrawing now and coming back in a few months when you have a little more experience. I think it shows a lot of class to be able to pull out. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Best, Alphachimp talk 04:25, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

Don't pull out just because I told you to. If you want you can leave it in for longer. I'm just fairly certain you won't get many/any supports. It's really up to you. If you want, I will remove your nomination for you. Just post on my talk page. Alphachimp talk 04:33, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Alright. I have closed the RfA, removed it from WP:RFA and added it to Unsuccessful Adminship Candidates. That being out of the way, I admire you for being willing to withdraw. I'll give you a couple of suggestions in case you might want to become an admin in the future...and feel free to get back to me if you want any more.
  • Involve yourself in Wikipedia related discussions. Examples would include WP:RFA, WP:AFD, WP:CFD. I would suggest WP:AFD as a great place to start out.
  • Join a WikiProject, like WP:PW (I see you're already in it). Then engage in discussion with them. Immerse yourselve in interacting with other editors. It might sound dumb, but Wikipedians want admins that have a pattern of rational interaction with other users.
  • This one is optional, but a lot of people like it. Revert vandalism. As of right now, you have enough edits to become a VandalProof user. It'll give you plenty of chances to interact with other users.
  • Above all, keep involved and keep your spirits up. I'm sorry that your RfA was not successful, but many great sysops withdrew once (or 2x or 3x.).
Feel free to contact me with any questions. Regards, Alphachimp talk 04:50, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

WrestleMania X8

Could you please help summarize this [1]? I keep telling him it's full of grammar errors, weasel words, and peacock terms, yet he still keeps adding it. If you could help me summarize the match to be consistent with other matches in the article I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.--3bulletproof16 21:37, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

TheTruth2 has been reported. If you would like to leave a comment concerning the situation please do so here. I find it strange that when he is referred to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling show formatting or any other guideline for that matter, he claims that he has already read them and that his edits "still follows the guidelines". Signed up just 3 days ago... Yep TJ Spyke and I are dealing with a troll here.--3bulletproof16 22:02, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
If there's anything I hate, it's someone who's just trying to get his way. I'll see what I can do. Chad1m 22:07, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Uncivil Edit Summaries

This [2] edit summary is out of line. Regardless of how other's behave refering to them in a disparaging manner like that in an edit summary is inappropriate. Please read WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA--Crossmr 03:49, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

A New Userbox For You =)

I have taken the liberty of creating another userbox for you, my friend. I think it suits you well:

PM This user has appeared on PlayMania, either as a contestant or via an email.

You can transclude it by placing {{User:TRAiNER4/On_PlayMania}} anywhere on your user page. I still have yet to get my emails on PlayMania, but I am motivated to keep trying. Anyways, here you go. I hope you like it. PS: I give you (Chad Mosher) permission to edit the message that it uses to make it worded better. JT (TRAiNER4) [TC][E] 15:29, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks very much. I reworded a bit and it is now on my user page. =) — Chad "1m" Mosher Email Talk Cont. 18:35, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Interesting Email on PlayMania Episode September 23

That was an interesting email. Though I have to say, the kid probably could have watched the show last night, and now knows what you did.... he could go up to you and sock you. lol, anyways, congrats again.  — JT (TRAiNER4)  [T·C·E] 11:32, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Have fun, Chad...

Have fun at TNA Bound for Glory... Let us know how well it goes!  — JT (TRAiNER4)  [T·C·E] 20:40, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey

I've been recently exploring the Jeopardy! Archive for really no apparent reason, and I stumbled across your name as one of the archivists. And the thought crossed my mind: "I wonder if it's that Chad..." And sure enough, it was! That Chad -- the one who auditioned in Cleveland at the same time as me, the one who also was a part of "Holiday Kids Week 2003." You probably won't remember me, but I'm Ian Manka, the kid who got third place on Wednesday 8 January 2006, but if you don't, the J! Archive has my game archived. I may have been the one who archived your game on the Archive as well.

Your Jeopardy! Experience was much different than my experience, but it was still a good read -- I can vouch for being called the "Jeopardy! kid" four years later... but it comes with the territory, huh?

Anyways, I'll see you around, then. If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 20:48, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Also, I was trying to remember where we've bumped heads about Wikipedia -- and then it hit me! It was the 50 Greatest Game Shows of All Time article, in case you were wondering (which I doubt you were). If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 20:54, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Hm. So it does all work out in the end, I suppose. :) If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 21:23, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Image:Hannahpeckham.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Hannahpeckham.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Oden 07:50, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

PlayMania Suggestions

Hey chad1m, I know you created the PlayMania page and looks very good, but I have a few suggestions you should take notice.
First of all, the "PlayMania 5" or "quiznation 5" should be a seperate game from Top 5. Eventhough it has the same format as "Top 5," but the gameplay is slightly different and difficult. Note the prizes for those are fixed to one single amount or $200. I was the one who made that change recently.
Second, you should keep the retired games for historic sakes. Even if the uncommonly featured games should be pointed out to let everyone know what games were played since the show's debut. So, you should keep the reitred games, but seperate it from the popular games.
Finally, there were some information that may be false or missing. For example, the "series" games was played during "playmania's" run after "quiznation's" debut. There are some games that I remember being played on "playmania," so I decided to add them to the page. I'm upset that some of my edit weren't taken for granteed and edited without leaving a reason. I think my additions were accurate, but were deleted by anyone else.
So, my question to you chad1m, how come you discarded most of my changes?

"Honorary" GM

Since you ignored the note to discuss it on the talk page if you wanted to re-add it, it is not notable. WWE made former New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman honorary WWE Champion after she removed taxes on wrestling (which lead to SummerSlam 1997 being held in East Rutherford, New Jersey), should we list her in List of WWE Champions page for that? No, for the same reason we won't list the little kid as GM of RAW. TJ Spyke 20:16, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

My point was that honorary doesn't mean anything. It's not notable and not worth mentioning. Also, i'm pretty sure they did call her honorary champion when they gave her the belt (although it has been a few years since I watched SummerSlam '97). TJ Spyke 21:47, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Image:100Win MelPeachey 1498.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:100Win MelPeachey 1498.jpg.

Thank you. Rettetast 21:05, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
