September 2018[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Signal Hill, Illinois, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. And you really should brush up in your grammar. "And you really should brush up in your grammar" Really? Certifiedsignal (talk) 05:50, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Signal Hill, Illinois has been reverted.
Your edit here to Signal Hill, Illinois was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.facebook.com/topofthehillbelleville/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 05:08, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted the article. The Facebook URL for The Top of the Hill association is their official website. Though it is a social networking site, listed as a link that should normally be avoided, it is their only official site and should be treated as "What can normally be linked".Certifiedsignal (talk) 05:50, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
