This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Railway Stations

Can you please provide a source for the twenty or however many railway stations in North Korea you added? Also, were you using a script for the purpose? Robert McClenon (talk) 03:34, 29 December 2016 (UTC)

I used Wikipedia itself and Google Maps. Also, I was using the same format for each one. --❦Cans48☙ 03:45, 29 December 2016 (UTC)

Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:49, 22 January 2017 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:Exterior of Saint Joseph's Church, Biddeford Maine.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Whpq (talk) 22:11, 22 January 2017 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Robret Deeley.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Robret Deeley.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:30, 6 February 2017 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:En-Punxsutawney pronunciation.ogg

Thank you for uploading File:En-Punxsutawney pronunciation.ogg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

Image without license

Unspecified source/license for File:En-Maine-pronunciation.ogg

Thanks for uploading File:En-Maine-pronunciation.ogg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Precious

Bach in Maine

Thank you for quality articles such as Saint Joseph's Church (Biddeford, Maine), and stubs on Korean stations, for expanding Bach cantata articles, for welcoming new users, for help with pronunciations and the spoken Wikipedia - Cans, you are an awesome Wikipedian!

You are recipient no. 2313 of Precious, a prize of QAI. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:41, 17 November 2019 (UTC)

Aw, thank you so much! This is so nice of you, I just remembered back on Wikia how much I loved editing, so I wanted to start editing here! -❦Cans48☙ 23:29, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
Nice to see your work. We'll have to improve the Bach motet you startet, needs a proper title, for example, - BWV xyz is only for a redirect. Best to compare to an existing article, and copy features from there. - When someone reverts your work saying no more than "trim", perhaps politely ask "why?" --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:22, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to [email protected], so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at [email protected].

Thank you!

Invite to Join WikiProject for Spoken Wikipedia

Hi Cans48! I am Galendalia (talk · contribs) and I am reviving the WikiProject for Spoken Wikipedia. I noticed that you signed up at some point to be a participant and as I am reviving this project, one of my tasks is to get the participant list in order. Would you please go to the Participants List and add your name and language(s) you speak? If you are already there and do not want to be, please remove yourself. If you want to remain, please put remain next to your name. If I do not see anything, I will move you to the inactive participant list. I am putting a timeline of 7 days on this action to help keep things moving along. It would also be great if you would be willing to join the task force for Pronunciation that would be awesome, as there are troublesome words we run into.

Thank you for considering joining us. If you decide to leave, I will be sad to see you leave as so many people have done a great job on the recordings and any work you have done makes a significant difference.

Thank you for reverting the NPOV on the above article. Could I ask you to please give the IP a level 1 warning for same Diff as I'm watching this in case it recurs and needs temporary pending changes. Best wishes JW 1961 Talk 18:46, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

I believe the IP was warned by someone else, so I think they were warned that way. If the IP does it again, I can leave a warning. --❦Cans48☙[t/c] 10:32, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
Oops, I was looking at the wrong IP! I left the correct one to this one. --❦Cans48☙[t/c] 10:34, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
