December 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Meters. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tomaree High School, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. It's not 2022 yet, is it? When the principal actually changes you can update the article, and provide a ref. Meters (talk) 20:20, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Meters, the information I added was personal experience as i am currently at Tomaree High School and students were verbally informed of the change on the last wednesday of the school year (talk) 20:27 , 22 December 2021 (UTC)

We report what reliable sources say and what we can verify, not what editors claim is personal information. We don't know who you are or if you really were told that. And either way, don't make the change before it actually happens. It's not 2022 yet, so if she is assuming the position in 2022, it should not be in the article yet. Meters (talk) 20:34, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ah okay that's fair, i'll wait until the school year starts to make the change. Cheers mate CHANGE NICKNAME 20:38, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. If the school's website has not yet been updated to show the new principal you'll need to find some coverage of the new principal as a source.. Meters (talk) 20:59, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Would a facebook page from the school he's transferring from be a good enough source CHANGE NICKNAME 21:14, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not great, but as long as it's an official school page it would be acceptable. Meters (talk) 21:17, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't use the undo feature when reverting vandalism[edit]

Like this edit, where you missed some of the vandalism (it's since been fixed). Please only use the Twinkle revert features in these sorts of circumstances. Graham87 17:43, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, my apologies I didn't have twinkle activated at that time, twinkle was activated shortly afterwards CHANGE NICKNAME (talk) 01:58, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
