Speedy deletion of Lorin Ashton[edit]

A tag has been placed on Lorin Ashton requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Grey Wanderer | Talk 23:03, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. --Hammersoft (talk) 20:43, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Diecutting. Your edits have been automatically marked as unconstructive/possible vandalism and have been automatically reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Diecutting was changed by Borsodas (u) (t) blanking the page on 2008-10-28T15:15:55+00:00 . Thank you. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Die (manufacturing). Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Wizard191 (talk) 18:39, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No personal attacks please.[edit]

Edits such as the one you recently made on Grey Wanderer's page are personal attacks. We have a policy enforcing no personal attacks on Wikipedia.

If this behavior continues, you will be blocked for disruption. Please comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Thank you. Kylu (talk) 16:30, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

November 2008[edit]

The warning was possibly too much. Since you asked on my talk page, I've moved the section to the bottom of my talk page and replied to your question with some links. Please don't add that again without sources. --GraemeL (talk) 01:02, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I replied again on my talk page with some guidance on how to add your information to the article. I'll add a welcome message here after I post this with more links for you to read. --GraemeL (talk) 00:25, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 00:26, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
