Welcome!

Hello, Boky, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

By the way, some of the articles you created have been deleted, because they were misspelt or incomplete duplicates of articles that already existed. To save yourself from wasted effort, you would be wise to search Wikipedia before beginning a new article. --Heron 10:45, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Billiard.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Billiard.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. -- PFHLai 14:05, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto for Image:Education.jpg. -- PFHLai 14:06, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You need help ?[edit]

Hello, Boky. You need help ? If you do, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question. You may also want to visit Wikipedia:Community Portal; answers to frequently asked questions are often there already. If you want, you may post a question at the Wikipedia:Village pump. I think they also take invitations to visit your pages. If you have a brand new page and you think it's good, please consider it for Wikipedia:Did you know. Please be reminded to sign your name on any talk pages (including Talk: Main Page, where we discuss the contents of the Main Page and hopefully nothing else) using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Hope this helps. Happy editing. -- PFHLai 21:33, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Scarlett_johansson_009.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Scarlett_johansson_009.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 09:42, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

March 2008[edit]

Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Main Page. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. freshacconcispeaktome 15:42, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, if you check the history, you deleted a message when you added your signature. I'm sure that it was not on purpose, although at the time it appeared that you were deleting a response to your comment. freshacconcispeaktome 16:43, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. It happens. Cheers. freshacconcispeaktome 17:18, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Great Friday[edit]

Where did you get this term from? Why did you change Good Friday on the Serbia page?Tomeasy (talk) 11:01, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I've just seen on the page Good Friday that in the Slavic countries it is literally better translated as Great Friday. I assume this was your motivation. Well, for that matter, please be informed that Good Friday is perfectly fine in English. There is nothing wrong with it and it is the common term to use. I hope you don't mind, I revert your edit. Notability of DJ Jacob[edit]

A tag has been placed on DJ Jacob requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Hqb (talk) 18:15, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

April 2008[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with DJ Jacob. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Hqb (talk) 18:32, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Chorrol, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Chorrol. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page.
