Hello. Welcome to Wikipedia. Could you please read the March of Dimes section at User_talk:ToddPreston to understand why your proposals on the talk page are misguided? Do you have a conflict of interest? It seems like you are here to promote the organization. Let me know if you have any questions about how to edit here. You can ask them at my talk page, which there will be a link to, after my name. Thanks. Jesanj (talk) 15:29, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jesang. After reviewing your comment, and reviewing User_talk:ToddPreston, I reviewed my proposed additions and agree that a section seemed to appear as a conflict of interest. I have since removed that content. Thank you for your help! BlairVanderbeek (talk) 15:41, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. =) Thanks for recognizing that. If you'd like to participate in talk page discussion I am planning on offering some feedback on the article. Thanks. Jesanj (talk) 16:12, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Perfect! Your information and knowledge is very much appreciated!! Thank you for your time. BlairVanderbeek (talk) 16:14, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. You'll find quite a few links below. If you think they are excessive you can remove them. =) Jesanj (talk) 16:28, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
FYI, as a "rule" we don't mark edits as minor when we add or remove information, as described here. Thanks! Jesanj (talk) 17:26, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You've taught me so much. Thanks again!!! BlairVanderbeek (talk) 17:27, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. Since you like learning, you can take a look at this: Help:Talk_page#Indentation. It explains how to indent talk page comments with colons. =) Jesanj (talk) 17:39, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jesang, I have read through the colon information, and appreciate you sending that over as well. You have really been a huge help! I feel that the "neutral" controversy on the March of Dimes page has been resolved. Do you agree? Do you think it's fair to take down that box at this time? I wanted to be sure we were on the same page before doing so. I believe all of the edits made last week and this week have been a huge improvement to the page. Thank you so much for your time. Let me know your thoughts on the box. Thanks! BlairVanderbeek (talk) 14:57, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome! Well, first of all let me say it is a shame I've had to remove some well-written content. I've tried to preserve formatted sources by placing them on other pages.Talk:Neonatal intensive care unitPreterm birthTalk:Rubella Really, you should consider joining WP:MED. We need people to help with articles about disease, etc. It appears that's what you really want to do, is to help people with diseases. Wikipedia wants to be used in that regard: see Heilman JM, Kemmann E, Bonert M; et al. (2011). "Wikipedia: a key tool for global public health promotion". J. Med. Internet Res. 13 (1): e14. doi:10.2196/jmir.1589. PMID 21282098. {{cite journal}}: Explicit use of et al. in: |author= (help)CS1 maint: multiple names: authors list (link) CS1 maint: unflagged free DOI (link) I can help you get acquainted here. But, I still see the page as problematic. Just yesterday I made these two edits.[1] Do you see what I fixed? There were two sections on the same topic that needed consolidating. Also, if you'll notice there is a primary source sitting in that section. I don't think it is appropriate. Also, lets compare the rubella section with the Fragile X one. In rubella, there is an independent secondary source (as far as I can tell) praising the organization. In the Fragile X section, I don't see a reason for it to exist at all; I don't see any reliable, third-party source praising the organization or its impact in this area. Does that make sense?
