Hello BlackSpace7. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Carlton Heard, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:BlackSpace7. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=BlackSpace7|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Belbury (talk) 16:54, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have no financial stake into building Draft:Carlton Heard article. Though I am deeply engaged with the subject's work and personal history, almost to the point of being a fan, I am eager to ensure that the Draft:Carlton Heard page receives verification. Thank you for your response. Can you clarify where you're getting the high resolution publicity shots of this person from, if you're not working to promote him? Belbury (talk) 18:05, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Belbury –
To provide some context, I am a freelance photographer and graphic designer. Over the years, I have worked on various projects across different industries, which has allowed me to build a substantial network and portfolio. I met Draft:Carlton Heard during the shoot and have access to high resolution photos.
-Carlton BlackSpace7 (talk) 18:11, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What information is needed for this approval?
-belbury BlackSpace7 (talk) 18:13, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Did you take the photos yourself, or did Carlton Heard let you use them?
If you have met Heard socially and are writing his Wikipedia page as a favour or kindness for no financial gain, you should still read and follow Wikipedia's policy on conflicts of interest at WP:COI. Belbury (talk) 08:43, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Spinster300 –
Thanks for reviewing again. Could you please review my references and inform me which sources are not reliable? All the sources come from outlets such as ESPN, Apple, Tubi, etc. Is the issue related to the order of the references, or is it related to how the article is written? Please advise on the steps I should take to ensure approval.
