DHL Group

Hey,

you wrote that the "DHL Group was the largest logistics company worldwide in 2022."

The stated reference only says that the DHL group is "the worldwide leading post and logistics company according to themselves". Companies sometimes claim to be the "leading company" while not being the largest one. The reference does not say by which measure DHL is supposed to be the largest. Germans

You are editing against consensus on the Germans article. Please avoid edit warring. You clearly want to change the article in a very fundamental way. You'll need to try to convince others on the talk page, and not just by repeating the same types of edits over and over. The article is basically about German citizens at the moment. The concept of "ethnic Germans" living outside of Germany does not seem to have a standard definition in the 21st century, although it is a topic discussed in many different ways for distinct historical periods. So it is a difficult one to handle. I think it needs to be handled more thoughtfully. Andrew Lancaster (talk) 07:33, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

Hey, about the article Romanesque architecture in Germany- it is effectively a word-for-word copy of Architecture of Germany. I see unaddressed concerns about this on your talk page as well. Doing so makes it difficult to trace the origins of content, as per Wikipedia's licensing, which is why it is generally discouraged. Please make sure to provide attribution. Changes to dog

You claimed that dogs were domesticated in Oberkassel, Bonn. Obviously that town did not exist tens of thousands of years ago, and something that long ago could not be narrowed to a specific area. (It didn't even *happen* in such a small area.) Unsurprisingly, it wasn't in the citation that you inserted your text next to. I believe this was deliberate vandalism. Image dos and don'ts

Images make Wikipedia more informative, accessible, and professional.

In general, when working with images:

DO: Review the image style guide and use policy. Give context with captions and alt text. Try to find at least one image for each article. Find free images, or create and upload your own. Clean up images: crop, color-correct, etc. Use the best file format for each image. Use objects for scale where helpful. Place images in the section to which they are related

DON'T: Don't upload non-free images. Don't use images in place of tables or charts. Don't use images or galleries excessively. Don't add images that are not relevant. Don't flip faces, text, or works of art. Don't set fixed image sizes. Don't sandwich text between two images. Don't refer to images by their placement.
