Dobruja map[edit]

Thanks for the feedback! How's it now? BTW, the article needs just a little more work before we can think of WP:GAC. It needs a decent Geography section and perhaps a copyedit (prose quality seems to be inconsistent). TodorBozhinov 09:51, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure I can dig out something on the geography of Southern Dobruja. I can't say for certain, but it's pretty possible that I can match the Romanian and Turkish names of more prominent geographical features in the south of the region to modern names, if that's the only problem. I'm not a native speaker too, but your English seems quite fine :) Best, TodorBozhinov 20:04, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Temperature[edit]

You'd been using {{temperature}} on User:Baltaci/Dobruja. I've taken the liberty to change it to {{convert}} since I intend to reassign the former (for details see template talk:temperature). Jɪmp 00:59, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bulgarian templates[edit]

Hi. I've created two pages of templates at Wikipedia:WikiProject Bulgaria/Municipal templates. There a re lot but I figure eventually they will all be needed to provide good navigation and more detailed ocoverage of Bolugaria on here by transwikiying the villages and startting articles on notable landmarks etc. I had intended working on filling them and starting the villages, However my computer wouldn't load the website in which I would have retrieved the villages from so I had to abandon doing it myself. I would be extremely grateful if you could develop all these templates and help build onctent on here. I am fully aware that most of the villages have articles on Bulgarian wikipedia. The Bulgarian village website has lists of villages, population and area data etc. List of villages can be obtained from here, just navigate by region/district/municipality. You can basically copy and paste the lists of villages by municipality into the templates, each one should only take a few minutes. Obviously you just have to remove the "Village of" of prefix and wiki link them all. When I time I can make an effort to try to get them started. Hi sorry to hear about the wesbite for you too. I did manage to add villages to one earler but when I tried the next municipality it froze again. I'm sure you can access the villages form Bulgarian wiki anyway. About dabbing links. Yes if one place in Bulgaria add ..., Bulgaria. If there are more than one village in Bulgaria always go my the larger sub divisions first e.g Glovin, Plovdiv etc. If there are more than one village within the province with the same name go by municipality after the title. Also ideally the "foreign" letters should be used for the titles although without them is also acceptable. I seem to be having a bit more luck with the website now, I'll try to copy some now if I can get through. Dr. Blofeld White cat 14:14, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good news the site now seems to be working for me, just a little slow. Try accessing the main page and then browsing through the columns on the left. Any luck?

I will begin copying the villages district at a time. Can you format the following. Don't worry about diuretics on the letters for now, the main thing is removing Village of and getting the villages linked and inline:

Gabrovo Province[edit]

Veliko Tarnovo Province[edit]

OK I've copied these for now. Can you format them.I'll try to do a batch regularly but it almost crashes my computer accessing that site for some reason. Dr. Blofeld White cat 15:27, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Greeting! I am grateful that you are fixing the Bulgarian municipality templates and I saw that you have a problem with the transliteration. Here is the way the Cyrillic letters are usually transliterated. I will write to you the whole alphabet because I don't know with which letters you have difficulties :-)

а - a б - b в - v г - g д - d е - e ж - zh з - z и - i й - y к - k л - l м - m н - n о - o п - p р - r с - s т - t у - u ф - f х - h ц - ts ч - ch ш - sh щ - st ъ - a ь - that letter is always followed by o (I think...) and the combination should be ьо = yo ю - yu я - ya

I will try to take a look of the templates you corrected because often there are several villages of the same name and the should be made like that: Krumovo, Plovdiv Province|Krumovo; some of them have names used in foreign countries and should be: Babino, Bulgaria|Babino. Thank you, --Gligan (talk) 22:09, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately I am going out now and I will check them out tomorrow. What I do is to see the entries in the Bulgarian Wikipedia where there is an article for every village and it is notes there if there are other villages in the similar model I have written above. The difference is that there it is written Krumovo (Plovidv Province)|Krumovo. You can see the municipalities in the Bulgarian Wiki, copy them in Cyrillic in the template and then transliterate them. Dobruja[edit]

I opened User:Baltaci/Dobruja2 in a search for info on Balik (ruler), and didn't recall that it was outside the main namespace when i edited it. I've self-reverted, and would not have edited it at all (let alone so harshly characterized your repetition of "Balik/Balica"), had i remembered that it was your sub-page work.
Please accept this apology for my carelessness.
