Hi! Is there any reason you are removing the word 'the' from before stadium names in various articles? Imo, it makes the pages read badly and seems kind of disruptive. Thanks, Gazamp (talk) 17:40, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

These stadiums are proper nouns. You wouldn’t say “I’m going to the Olive Garden”, would you? Same thing here Baggedpizza98 (talk) 03:26, 20 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

April 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to Mission, British Columbia appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Please note, saying “the (so and so) arena” is not grammatically correct. We are allowed to change grammatical errors. Baggedpizza98 (talk) 02:00, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • After asking it at WP:HD, I learnt that whether adding "the" is correct is on a case-by-case crisis; in Mary Brown's Centre's case, "the" should not have been added. In light of that, I have revoked the warning. However, I would advise that you tone down your (well-intentioned) pedantry. Thank you, NotReallySoroka (talk) 00:19, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
