Tagging edits as minor edits[edit]

Greetings. With this note I'd like to ask that you please not tag so many of your edits as "minor edits." As noted on this page, WP:HEP — "A check to the 'minor edit' box signifies that only superficial differences exist between the version with your edit and the previous version: typo/grammar corrections, formatting and presentational changes, rearranging of text without modifying content, etc. A minor edit is a version that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute." This page has further information that may be useful WP:MINOR Thank you.FFM784 (talk) 14:49, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sure thing. Sorry about that. Atubofsilverware 18:27, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

January 2024[edit]

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that in this edit to Pitchfork (website), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 05:04, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Adakiko: It was a mistake, sorry. I only meant to add the link to Liz Phair's song "Fuck and Run". Atubofsilverware (talk) 05:14, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Great work![edit]

Just wanted to pop by and say congratulations on having your article on Josh Guimond's disappearance published! I attempted to create and have an article on the topic published in the past, but was unsuccessful in doing so (as can be seen on my page). Please, feel free to pop in and ask, should you need any help or contributions to the page! DylanJ10000 (talk) 02:07, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No prob. I didn't know that page had such a history haha. I'll let you know if I need anything Atubofsilverware (talk) 03:28, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Paraquat murders, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CBC. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:04, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami into History of Tokyo. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 18:32, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Namacurra[edit]

Hello, I was just working on one of your articles, Battle of Namacurra! Just to let you know I fixed up the Infobox and added more information, but I recommend you look at the text of the article, as I noticed some small mistakes in grammar and other things. Have a good day! Antny08 (talk) 13:37, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the additions. I fixed all the grammar mistakes I could find. Good day to you too Atubofsilverware (talk) 02:19, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Image size[edit]

Hello. For your future reference regarding image size, note the bolded sentence at WP:IMGSIZE:

Except with very good reason, do not use px (e.g. |thumb|300px, which forces a fixed image width measured in pixels, disregarding the user's image size preference setting.

Thank you. ―Mandruss  04:42, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
