May 2007[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Search engine marketing. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. Gwernol 23:58, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

also spamming with 24.6.217.168 and User:Qugang. If you continue you will be blocked. -- zzuuzz(talk) 00:00, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Your edit summary here is an unfounded and inappropriate. Zzzuzz did not add a spam link to that page, he removed several spam links. Thanks, Gwernol 00:17, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, we remind you not to attack other editors, as you did here: User talk:Zzuuzz. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.--Guinnog 00:36, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please let me make this very clear to you. User:Zzuuzz has not added any links to the Search engine marketing. To continue to claim he is doing so is extremely unfair and biased. Any editor can see all the edits made to any article. Go to the article and click the History tab. Please stop making this baseless accusation against an editor who has worked hard to prevent spam being added to articles. Sadly the same could not be said for you and your sockpuppet account(s). to: Gwernol: why you tell lies[edit]

Gwernol, Go to the following url and see who add those external links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_marketing

It's unfair for our new editor to be disabled when we follow those old editors to add some useful links.

Could you please let me know why my account is disabled? or where should I report this case to.

Thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Apexpromotion (talkcontribs).

I have gone through all of User:Zzuuzz's edits to the Internet marketing page, you can do the same. He has not added a single link to that page. He has removed spam links added by others on several occasions. Your accusations remain unfounded, and I will warn you that continuing to make these false accusations will lead to this account being blocked for disruption. If nothing else, please have the common courtesy to examine the evidence before making accusations against others.
The Internet marketing article is currently protected from editing by new editors because it has ben consistently vandalized and spammed by irresponsible new users.
I strongly advise you not to "report" this case since you are clearly in the wrong. You have spammed multiple encyclopedia articles, used sockpuppet accounts and made several obviously false statements against an editor in good standing. I fail to see what "case" it is you propose making, unless it is that you should be blocked from editing. Gwernol 02:24, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gwernol, Thanks for your declaration. I appreciate it if you could help delete the account apexpromotion. I have another personal account called "qugang". I will use that account to add the latest information and remove spam links on my area in the future.

Thanks! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Apexpromotion (talkcontribs).

We do not normally delete accounts in that manner, however you can simply stop using this account if you wish. Gwernol 09:38, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
