Google Doodle RFC[edit]

Hey, I noticed you make a lot of edits to the List of Google Doodles article. Just thought I'd notify you about the current RFC that is in the process of deciding whether to mass delete these articles, in case you are interested in adding your opinion. See here: Talk:Lists_of_Google_Doodles#Request_for_Comment. Cheers. — Crumpled Firecontribs 05:23, 17 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stepped on your George Patton Fix - apologies[edit]

I accidentally reverted a fix you did to correct vandalism on the Patton page. It's corrected now. My apologies for the mixup.

Have you considered using an antivandal tool that would allow you to flag vandal users like wp:Huggle or wp:TW?

KNHaw (talk) 18:42, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your fixing, I looked for user or admin who can stop the vandalized at the time. —Anonimeco (talk) 19:01, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I’m sorry I don’t speak Thai. Could you please explain your stance? The woman has played notable roles (e.g. Daw Khin Kyi) in notable films including Blood Monkey a. The Lady. Besides, she works as lead coach in a notable stunt team, viz. Jaika stunt team. I don’t see criteria for deletion in general and speedy deletion criteria especially. --Janggun Dungan (talk) 08:02, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I reported the deletion after I checked the Notability of People (It is Thai language). It said the person must play in lead role more than 1 film and having enough references, you may ask Thai Wikipedia administrators for more clarification. Cheers! -- Anonimeco (talk) 08:29, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
"more than 1 film?" There are a lot of films in which she played lead roles: Blood Monkey, The King Cobra, Bat Hunter. Moreover, she is featured on the covers of these films (see, e.g., this cover and this one). BTW, among those who share my conviction one must name The Polish and Babymissfortune. The English article is tagged by the words "Please note that adding reliable sources is all that is required to prevent the scheduled deletion of this article. … Once the article has at least one reliable source, you may remove this tag." The problem thus does not come down to lack of WP:Notability. The sense of the tag consists in inserting appropriate references. The same must also be said of the Polish article. It was removed after it had been placed in my sandbox by The Polish. He agrees that the woman is notable. When I add reliable sources he will move the article to the Wikipedia namespace from my sandbox. Not knowing the language, I can’t appeal to Thai administrators. (th:พูดคุย:ประพิมพ์พร กาญจันดา) --Janggun Dungan (talk) 09:18, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I will remove deletion tag so Thai Wikipedia administrators can decide about this article because they are more experience than me. Is it okay? Cheers! -- Anonimeco (talk) 09:37, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. As for me, I neither remove the tag added by Babymissfortune nor move my Polish สวยซามูไร to the Wikipedia namespace. There’re experienced Wikipedians who can evaluate the female samurai’s notability. I’m merely waiting for their conclusion. --Janggun Dungan (talk) 10:10, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Janggun Dungan: Per General notability guidelines, the person in question still need "significant coverage". From my view the sources in the article still cover only the movie she taking part in. --Horus (talk) 18:55, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 2[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page German (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
