I wish to delete this account because I do not wish to edit under my real name. I have created and been using a new account under a different name, and I would like this username to be deleted / blocked / whatever so I am not considered a sockpuppet. To be perfectly honest, that isn't the best solution to your problem. I would recommend instead that you do the following:

Ask to have this account renamed at Special:GlobalRenameRequest
If you have significant contributions under your new account, add a note on that account's userpage indicating that it is an alternate account of this one (referring to this account by the new username), and cease using this account.
Otherwise, simply stop using your new account and resume editing with this one.
Request oversight for any edits made with this account that you think may have revealed excessive personal information.

This will remove your real name from the account, and enable you to continue editing without violating the multiple accounts policy. Yunshui ^雲 _水 09:18, 8 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
