Proposed deletion of Valentine Rock

The article Valentine Rock has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A small town's music festival that doesn't meet the WP:GNG. Small community newspaper is not independent of said community's music fest.

Workington North railway station

Sorry missed this talk. Not got as yet, but will in next few days when the station opens. Only stop at the moment is Flimby. Have image of damaged northern section of Dock Bridge. Seems the end of Merchant's Quay was swept away in the storm. But bridge still standing but closed. (Andy V Byers (talk) 18:27, 29 November 2009 (UTC))

I took the image of the front page of out local newspaper. Does my own photo of a front page infringe copyright status? Is it also an advert for the News & Star?

Yes, the image on the newspaper is copyrighted and you are essentialy reproducing that copyrighted image and claiming authorship without realising it. Jolly Ω Janner 19:29, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
