Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page René Higuita has been reverted.
Your edit here to René Higuita was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BH9nh88BDLw%7Cthe) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Ways to improve Adagio appassionato for violin and orchestra[edit]

Hi, I'm Boleyn. Amir.azhieh, thanks for creating Adagio appassionato for violin and orchestra!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This may be able to be developed but at the moment it isn't ready for mainspace. Can you please move it back to the mainspace when it's ready? Thanks for your work on this.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hello, Amir.azhieh. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, I. Robert Lehman, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want I. Robert Lehman to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks,

Ways to improve Dudley Williams (biological chemist)[edit]

Hello, Amir.azhieh,

Thank you for creating Dudley Williams (biological chemist).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

if you're genuinely "enamored of science", please return to this stub and do the man credit by utilising the really good content in the bare URL reference you cited. It'd be a shame to leave it incomplete, or expect others to do it for you.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Nick Moyes}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Disambiguation link notification for September 29[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jeremy Sanders, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dudley Williams (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:16, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

some advice[edit]

Although John Mekalanos is unquestionably notable according to WP:PROF because of his membership in the US NAS, it's generally considered here that it is not particularly helpful to enter articles with as little information as this base upon inclusion in a list and nothing more. For one thing, people who might not know the standards in the subject field might well nominate it, however wrongly, fo deletion, The ref. you cited links ultimately to [1], his web page at Harvard, which gives other information. To discuss his research , the best and most objective way is to list his 5 or so most cited papers from Google Scholar, including the number of citations. I'm one of the editors who work regularly on academic bios, and if you need any assistance, ask me on my user talk page. DGG ( talk ) 10:12, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@KylieTastic: I believe that this scientist meets the notability guidelines of academics as in the criteria discussed in the source just mentioned, the person has been an elected member of a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society or association (e.g., a National Academy of Sciences or the Royal Society) or a fellow of a major scholarly society which reserves fellow status as a highly selective honor (e.g., Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). In this case, Scott Hultgren has been appointed to the National Academy of Sciences and as many other articles that I have so far created, e.g. those on Philip Hieter, John Mekalanos, as well as I. Robert Lehman, this biography would be on a typical important scientist on Wikipedia. I would appreciate it if you could accept it on those grounds. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Diana Adamyan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. November 2023 Edit warring[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Max Blumenthal. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jeppiz (talk) 22:17, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
