your Ronnie Wood edit[edit]

hello - i just wanted to explain why i undid your edit to the Ronnie Wood article - it sounded too "promotional" for an encyclopedia article, and also included "timebound" terms (like "recently") that will soon go out of date. Wikipedia articles always need to maintain an encyclopedic tone; and whenever possible, it's good to phrase things in a way that won't require rewriting a few months down the road when "recently" no longer fits. but thanks for taking an interest, and i hope some of the links in my post above will be helpful to you. ps: i reckon neither of us wants to be involved in an "edit war", but i undid your edit for a second time for the reasons stated above. if we need to, we can discuss it, either here on your talk page or on the article's talk page. it's apparently also worth noting that although we're supposed to "sign" our posts on talk pages, that doesn't apply to our additions to articles. thanks Sssoul (talk) 16:35, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
