July 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from IK Multimedia, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. TNX-Man 14:40, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with IK Multimedia. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. TNX-Man 14:42, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of SkillStorm[edit]

A tag has been placed on SkillStorm requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. BigDuncTalk 16:06, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute of Suspected Sockpuppet status[edit]

Hello, I would like to know how I go about disputing my sockpuppet status. I do not know who the user you referred to is and would not like my future contributions blocked if they are appropriate information. Please let me know how to go about this. Proposed deletion of Amplitube (guitar software)[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Amplitube (guitar software), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. I've moved this to here for you. I'm sure he will reply in due course. --Rodhullandemu 20:25, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, You seem to be creating a large number of articles about a given company, it's holdings and the like. Please be sure to check out the rules for conflict of interest. I'll ask straight-up: do you have an involvement with any of those companies? If so you probably shouldn't be editing (or creating) those articles. Hobit (talk) 00:53, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hobit, I work in the South Florida area and subscribe to the South Florida Business Journal, hence the knowledge of the articles I submitted for consideration. SkillStorm is in the publication quite often and has a strong presence in the business market here in South Florida. I run into SkillStorm at networking events in the area and such, same as with some of the other articles I've contributed for businesses in this area (such as IK Multimedia which is located in Sunrise, Florida). As for a conflict of interest, I guarantee you there is none as I am not involved with this organization.Adiaza2181 (talk) 13:16, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just to be clear, you aren't involved or paid by any of those businesses you've been creating/editing articles on, correct? Thanks! Hobit (talk) 21:24, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Correct. Thanks for all of your help.Adiaza2181 (talk) 18:24, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
