Nomination of Still Creek Ranch for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Still Creek Ranch is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

Still Creek Ranch[edit]

Hi again! I see you added some information to the article. You're a fast learner! :) I also added some info this evening. I saw that you added some links in the 'References' section. That's one of the trickiest parts of an article (to me, anyway). Actually, references go in the body of the article between <ref> </ref> tags. That's what makes them appear in that section. For now, I've just moved the links you added to the "External Links" section. You can have a look at this page about adding references: Referencing for beginners. Neutrality[edit]

Hi Abgaila... Watching your edits to the article.. All looks fine. I should mention one thing at this point, though. You are obviously interested in the ranch and wish to put it in a good light. That's understandable. But I made a couple of changes just now that illustrate how Wikipedia articles must be written from a neutral point of view. You included the phrases, "...in addition to a full academic curriculum.. " and "... a wide variety of activities..". I changed those to, "...in addition to the academic curriculum" and "..a variety of activities..".

The reasons are that the adjectives "full" and "wide" tend to be promotional and are subjective. In any event, they are positive qualifiers and not neutral. Does that make sense? (if you read at the link I put in the first paragraph, it'll explain it better!). On Wikipedia, no matter how much interest or excitement an editor has about a subject, it's important that articles stick to verifiable information and not words or phrases that are biased in any way.
