Edit warring[edit]

Hi Aaronfranke. After reviewing your report to the edit warring noticeboard (permalink) and your edits to Conformal linear transformation, I'm giving you a formal warning about edit warring. I'm sorry that you were the target of personal attacks, which were a factor in why they were blocked and you were not. You should avoid reverting repeatedly to your preferred version if there is not consensus for it. Please also read WP:WTRMT. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 13:35, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

One point I also should have mentioned: do not refer to good-faith contributions as "vandalism", even if you disagree with them. Doing so is against policy (WP:NORESVAND, as it's considered a personal attack. If you're not sure if a contribution is good-faith, you should assume that it is. I understand and agree with these warnings, my actions were clearly suboptimal and I apologize for them. Aaronfranke (talk) 08:04, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It has been observed (correctly) that my comments to you (at Talk:Conformal linear transformation and in edit summaries) have lacked in collegiality. I apologize for that. 100.36.106.199 (talk) 02:40, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
