When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:[reply]

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:56, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

August 2014[edit]

AERATBAG (talk) 18:42, 16 August 2014 (UTC) I did not write the article about myself.. I helped the man who started my article, and who I have never ever met, after he contacted me. I did not start it as you will see. He needed the articles and some help. I know many people who may say they do not help, but who do help. So this may not be encouraged. I actually think it helps the whole process. I would willingly help anyone. I understand Wikipedia's reservations. I am trying to learn with myself so that I can help with other people on Wikipedia. Thank you for your help. I have made many errors but now am on my way with still a lot to learn. With best wishes AERATBAG[reply]

Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Amanda Eliasch. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you.--Orange Mike | Talk 14:35, 16 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi AERATBAG. Thanks for stopping by my talkpage. I can see that the article on Amanda Eliasch has been deleted. I couldn't find reliable sources myself so that action makes sense. But no worries! If you'd like to work together on a different article, just let me know. Or if you have questions on how to improve existing articles, I'd be glad to assist with that. Also, the WP:Teahouse is a fabulous resource for new editors as it is staffed by hosts 24 hours/day. Cheers, --Rosiestep (talk) 00:12, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If you have already appealed to the Unblock Ticket Request System and been declined you may appeal to the Arbitration Committee's Ban Appeals Subcommittee. Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
