Goodbye[edit]

Well, I'm off. Apparently Wikipedia is the sort of project where one user can pursue a campaign of threats, insults, misquotation, denigration and privacy violation, culminating in calling me a liar to my face and nobody bats an eyelid. A.K.Nole (talk) 06:25, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am very sorry for your experience – indeed, this one particular user does engage in below-the-belt practices and wikipedia enforcement mechanisms have been powerless to stop him so far. As R.e.b told you, from a practical point of view, it is often easier and more constructive to disgengage and keep editing other articles, both for you and for others. I do hope that you'll find a way to return to wikipedia after a rest and I wish you many more productive edits and much satisfaction with your good work. Arcfrk (talk) 07:16, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think several people batted an eye, furrowed a brow, and even harrumphed. But certainly Wikipedia isn't perfect. There are lots of other articles and editors after all. Take care. Thanks for your good efforts and helpful suggestions and comments. ChildofMidnight (talk) 20:08, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I am appauled but not suprised with what happened. Sorry. Ikip (talk) 04:00, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
