Your advice to 79.132.239.87

Apparently you advised 79.132.239.87 to contact her draft's past reviewers. There is no requirement that a draft be reviewed again by one of the previous reviewers, and I, for one, usually prefer not to review the same draft multiple times and to have some new eyes on the page instead. It would have been more useful to advise her to re-submit the draft. Huon (talk) 21:03, 17 January 2015 (UTC)

The draft in question has already been declined three times. In my opinion it would be painful to see it being rejected a fourth time. This is why I think the draft's editor needs (editors need) to ask for sufficient feedback before resubmitting the draft. I think that reviewers who previously declined the draft are already somewhat familiar with the subject and may therefore be suitable candidates to evaluate whether past deficiencies have been addressed. I suggested to 79.132.239.87 that it might be a good idea to ask one or more experienced editors to evaluate the draft before resubmitting it for an actual AfC review. I'm aware that there is no requirement that a draft be reviewed again by one of the previous reviewers, and it makes sense that you prefer not to review the same draft multiple times. I don't think it's wise to resubmit a draft that has been rejected three times for a fourth review before one or more experienced editors have given a quick glance over the article to see whether it's likely to pass another review.
