Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Smile (2022 film). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. TLJ7863 (talk) 14:51, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Smile (2022 film). Mike Allen 15:12, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Smile (2022 film). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. AntiDionysius (talk) 10:37, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as done at Smile (2022 film).
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Daniel Quinlan (talk) 20:05, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

March 2024[edit]

Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the Scream 2 plot summary have been removed because they added a significant amount of unnecessary detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 01:44, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cleo Cooper. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Curse of Chucky seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cleo Cooper (talk) 20:08, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No, they’re hardly disruptive

They're nothing but disruptive. You spend your entire time on Wikipedia adding your own personal analysis of the characters motivations and the intelligence of their decisions. None of which are ever sourced and all of which are your own personal opinions and are irrelevant to the articles. It's not a coincidence that 95% of your posts get reverted.Rcarter555 (talk) 00:45, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

My opinions are correct, I’ve seen all each of these movies, and every single bit that I’ve written actually happened in the movies, not all of them are opinions and I’m trying to make them sense, regardless how much you talk about my opinions, why not ask other people and see what they think about my analysis to back up your argument. Plus each can be relevant, from where I’m standing 100% of all you people practically write your own opinions on these articles, not even giving people like me a chance to see from their/my perspective.

What you fail to understand is that your opinions (even if correct) are not relevant here on Wikipedia. You are adding your subjective analysis to what should be an objective plot summary. “Character X thought Character Y was the killer” is an objective statement. “Character X foolishly thought Character Y was the killer because Character Y was obviously a foot shorter than the killer” is a subjective statement, even if you believe it to be accurate. This IP (and the many more they have used before it) is simply WP:NOTHERE. Mike Allen 22:31, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why does it matter? What you fail to understand that the revelent stuff I kept are still there, A those are in fact real words, B my opinions matter just as much as everyone even you, and C Character X in Chucky movies were actually foolish ones who jumped to conclusions rather than talk, I've seen it first hand dozens of times, you people clearly like writing your own perspection, seeing the opposite of capitulation when no matter how many people tried to reason with you. Even if I did have an account you wouldn't listen, because I already tried that 80.111.140.53 (talk) 20:11, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It will always be reverted. Mike Allen 01:21, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No “opinions” matter on Wikipedia. Only facts that can be sourced. For plot summaries, it should be concise and free from injecting subjective opinion. Rcarter555 (talk) 05:03, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
