Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 77.103.154.52, has made edits which do not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not already been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you did not make this change, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors. Logging in is not mandatory to read or edit pages on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the Help desk, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have!

Some other good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. August 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Danners430. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, West Coast Railways, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Danners430 (talk) 23:26, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Use of citation templates[edit]

Hi there,

Thank you for your edits to UK Rail articles within Wikipedia. However, I noticed that you often use bare URL as citations - bare URLs may be subject to link rot, and are less user friendly than alternative methods. Templates do exist, such as Template:Cite Web or Template:Cite Magazine, which allow for a structured citation that is less likely to succumb to link rot as it’s possible to add archive URLs. Personally I would recommend using these for better citations.

Once again thank you for your edits. Danners430 (talk) 19:55, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @77.103.154.52, I notice that you are still regularly making edits cited with bare references or references without templates. Please try to use the provided citation tools when editing. Danners430 (talk) 22:01, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I note that you are still adding bare refs with nothing more than a title - please format cites properly. Danners430 (talk) 19:43, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
