October 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Draft:Hurricane Ian tornado outbreak, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. The reason articles are started in draftspace is to allow the editor or editors the ability to improve the article and get it up to specs for the mainspace. In your edit summary, you mentioned "Doesn’t even have a section on Tornadoes of 2022", which may have been true at the time, but it appears there is a section in the article for this draftspace list. As a general rule of thumb, it is probably best to not delete/redirect a draft unless the sole contributor is blocked (the main reason) or there is an article in mainspace over the same topic (can still be disputed). Hope that helps! Elijahandskip (talk) 23:06, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No, Elijahandskip, this is WP:OWN behavior. And you jumped the gun, again. Unless we have a tornado outbreak on the level of at a bare minimum Isaias or Ida, we do NOT need an outbreak article. Six tornadoes would only need an article if a large death toll occurred. That is not true in this case. As such, the draft should not stand. What would be more appropriate, Elijahandskip, is a sub article for the impacts in Florida. 72.80.246.5 (talk) 23:09, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
"Again"? You just started editing today, so which IP address would I know you as or which account name would I know you as because you for sure are not a new editor due to knowing about multiple userspace drafts and then saying I "jumped the gun, again.".
