It says in Surah Mujādilah, Alladhina Yudhāhirunna minkum min Nisâ’ihim… This word “ظھار” mean Dhahār, Ðħā or Ẓāʾ is a pharyngealized voiced alveolar fricative or [ðˤ]. In my humblest opinion, Dhâ’ is not Tha’ or (ث ~ θ) because it is not a Voiceless Dental Fricative, nor it has a pharyngealized sound likewise like Dhal or ذ. Furthermore, ث is Thā, ذ is Dhāl, ز is Zāyn, ض § ط are Ḍād and Ṭāʾ, ص is Ṣād and finally, ظ is Ẓāʾ, or ḏ̣āʾ. LET ME BE CLEAR, Thā or (ث ~ θ) and Ẓāʾ/ḏ̣āʾ or (ظ ~ ðˤ) are NOT the same! I’m sorry I didn’t bring much context earlier in the edit summaries but I thought this IS worldly common sense and thank you for inviting me to Teahouse but I am good, I don’t really edit that much anyways. 66.41.69.90 (talk) 17:26, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
