Gender pay gap in the UK[edit]

Hi 5.81.164.70! Back in november you claimed on Talk:Gender pay gap that "BTW, in the UK there is no so-called gender pay gap. It's illegal, and has been for a long time, for men and women to be paid different amounts for doing the same work. What we do have, however, is a gender earnings gap.” [1] This is horribly inaccurate and I just wanted to point you to the relevant government statistics. From the UK’s Office of National Statistics “The gender pay gap among all employees was 15.5% in 2020, down from 17.4% in 2019.” [2] Horse Eye's Back (talk) 18:18, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
