Odd citation information[edit]

I have been cleaning up date errors in citations. I came upon your edit to Abdominal aortic aneurysm. The date of one of the publication you cited is give as "year=2001 - in press, corrected proof 12/23/2011". The greatest concern I have is how could a paper in a reputable journal be in press for 10 years, and equally concerning, should you be citing a source that has not yet been published in a reliable source. There are lesser issues: currently the documentation for {{cite journal}} states:

As a general rule, only one data item per parameter. Do not include explanatory or alternate text:
Use |date=27 September 2007 not |date=27 September 2007 (print version 25 September)

Another lesser issue is that one of the dates is written as 12/23/2011. Wikipedia does not allow this date format because when the day-of-month is less than 12, the date is ambiguous. See WP:DATEFORMAT. Jc3s5h (talk) 17:04, 10 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
