Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the one you made on 2016 Manhattan bombing. I greatly appreciate your constructive edits on Wikipedia. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (2604:2000:E016:A700:4484:D7B0:8756:2C26) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! September 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! 220 of Borg 03:55, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Sorry[edit]

Sorry about that, try to provide a more detailed edit summary. And I would suggest creating an account. Ps We are humans, out of the 100s of edits I rollback, I make mistakes. Apology accepted. But in addition to you not leaving a proper edit summary, the reverts were completely unacceptable. They could even be considered vandalism. You gave no explanation for that. Your level of understanding seems low -- based on the discussion on your talk page. The issue here is not that I am an IP, but that you made completely inappropriate reverts. That sort of behavior hurts WP. Because it hurts the morale of editors making correct edits. It is not acceptable. We have to be vigilant not to do it. It is not excused by you making other correct edits. You are not blocked on the percentage of how may improper edits you make. But how may improper edits you make, without proper explanation. If you do not understand the rules completely, or are moving too fast to avoid these mistakes, slow down. Your diverting the discussion to the fact that I am an IP is irrelevant -- this has nothing to do with whether I am an IP. Wikipedia:IPs are human too. Please. 2604:2000:E016:A700:4484:D7B0:8756:2C26 (talk) 19:18, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@2604:2000:E016:A700:4484:D7B0:8756:2C26: Sorry. It was mistake. Seeing the "rookie level" part, I assumed it was a vandal edit. Please excuse me. Sorry again!
