But I was. I wrote ce. That was my reason. And a two-second look at the edit shows it for precisely that - even had I not led an edit summary (and you should not simply anyway delete edits that lack an edits summary). CE does not explain what an edit is? This being said, I left my reasoning behind why it was reverted, and agreed when you reverted it and explained why. CE stands for copy edit. You were incorrect when you stated that I did not leave an edit summary. And you have not apologized for that. Or for your innappropriate deletion. As I said - even if one does not leave an edit summary, that does not give you a right to delete that edit. Especially when it is on its face quite clearly an improvement. And on top of that - if you do that with tools, you can lose your right to use tools. Please note - nothing I have said fails to assume good faith. At all. Or is a personal attack. At all. I simply point out - as is true - that you stated an untruth. That you failed to apologize. That you used tools improperly. And that your edits did not display the level of competence necessary for one to have the right to use tools. You may will be doing this all in good faith, and be a very nice person - but all of this is true, and I reiterate it, and it is not in any way a failure to assume good faith or a personal attack. Thank you, I was actually unaware of what CE meant, as I've never seen it used. That also being said, I appreciate the tips as well. If you have an issue with tool use, that is a valid concern to bring up to the admins. We're all here to help contribute to Wikipedia on our own time, I am not offended by what was said, I was explaining the reasoning, which we both have done so. You are welcome. See Wikipedia:Basic copyediting. Where it states: "Make your changes and fill out an edit summary. Be helpful to the editors who follow you by giving a summary of what you've done. Simple "Copy edit" is fine, but "Edited for tone" is even better. The most commonly used abbreviation for "copy edit" is "ce"." What I did was totally in line with what wp asks I do. And yet you, not being knowledgable, gave me a hard time - and deleted my entry! Until you know more, I would lighten up on the use of tools. And deletions. I understand that you are well intentioned.
