Deadnames[edit]

Please see MOS:DEADNAME for our policies around deadnames. Furthermore there's a note you would have seen while editing the article which reads NOTE: Please do not remove Thorson's old name from lead without consensus. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Biography#Changed_names. If you want to make a case for the deadname being removed you'll have to justify why MOS:DEADNAME doesn't apply. — Czello 10:22, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Furthermore, accusations like this violate our no personal attacks policy. Please refrain from this in future. — Czello 10:23, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

January 2023[edit]

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:Czello. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. — Czello 10:28, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Maddy Thorson. — Czello 10:29, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Among the litany of policies you're transgressing, note that users are free to remove anything from their talk page (aside from declined unblock requests). I am under no obligation to entertain your partisan posts on my talk page. Continuing to restore personal attacks will make a block more likely. — Czello 10:44, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ANI[edit]

I've removed the section on ANI. Please take heed of the information you've been given on this page particularly MOS:DEADNAME which explains Wikipedia's policy. There are ways to propose changes to Wikipedia's policies but edit warring on an article is not one of them. It will only get you blocked. If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 11:32, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Deadnames, again[edit]

I'm going to assume good faith and interpret this edit as you misunderstanding the WP:DEADNAME policy. I suspect you read the first sentence, but no further. After your block expires, instead of reverting again please consider this line from the policy: A living transgender or non-binary person's former name should be included in the lead sentence of their main biographical article only if they were notable under it. Maddy was indeed notable before she identified as female - indeed, we even had an article in her pre-transition days. This is in keeping with other articles on Wikipedia, such as Chelsea Manning or the Wachowskis. Please do not resume edit warring after your block expires, as it'll only result in you being blocked again but for a lengthier period of time. — Czello 12:13, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
