I have added two more sources and resubmitted it. I think the topic deserves some attention and it is already discussed in investopedia in greater detail https://www.investopedia.com/zero-days-to-expiration-0dte-options-and-how-do-they-work-6753832.

Hi, I have just added a bit more context and sources. I think the 0DTE options are an interesting topic because mainstream is writing about them. Also from a scientific aspect they are interesting as they are in fact options on discrete jump processes. Best, Frank
