Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent edits, such as the ones to the page Victor Conte, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the "sandbox" rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Thompson.matthew (talk) 04:17, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

July 2011[edit]

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Muhammad Tahir with this edit, even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Falcon8765 (TALK) 04:19, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is a hospital ip, with 5,000 employees, it would better to unsigned ban edits from such sites altogether. Charles Soper194.176.105.147 (talk) 10:21, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

July 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Cineworld, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Cineworld was changed by 194.176.105.147 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.892332 on 2011-07-29T11:40:56+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 11:41, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

November 2011[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username DVdm. I noticed you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide verification for your edit. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! Wikipedia articles are written by people like you and me, and we care a lot about the quality of the encyclopedia. Please help us make it better. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks, DVdm (talk) 13:54, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Chuck Thomas (television presenter). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. DVdm (talk) 13:54, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

December 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Raffaele Amato, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I don't know if it is true or not but for Christ's sake, please provide a source in this page, and i shall add it myself to the article. If there is no source, then it can't be added. Citing sources are necessary. Please see WP:CS. If you reinsert it again without providing a reliable source, then i will be forced to report you. Rules are rules! Hi Joyson, this seems to be a hospital account so is not some troll, there must be some validity to it. I'll try finding a source for the singing bit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.18.113.169 (talk) 20:55, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not include unsupported or inaccurate statements. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Martyn Lewis (journalist), you must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for guidelines. Thank you. Qwfp (talk) 15:56, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Martyn Lewis (journalist). Thank you. This was a joke in an episode of Alan Partridge. Please stop stating it as fact. Qwfp (talk) 14:26, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

May 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Tetralogy appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. Jay Σεβαστόςdiscuss 13:14, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Gtwfan52. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Bilevel positive airway pressure without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! before removing referenced copy, discuss at talk page Gtwfan52 (talk) 00:58, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

what you know or you think you know matters not a whit. Go to the articles talk page and discuss removal of referenced text prior to removal. You need references for what you say here, and you solve your disputes with the editors involved, which I am not. Go to the articles talk page and discuss it. And no i won't remove the warning i put on your page. Gtwfan52 (talk) 11:09, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to March 30[edit]

Some of your edits on the page March 30 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

No Wikipedia page has been linked to.

If a Wikipedia page for the person already exists, add a link to it (by putting it in doubled square brackets [[Like this]]) and try again. If it doesn't yet exist, read this page carefully before creating it. In particular, you shouldn't create a page about yourself or anyone you know personally. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. Please see this page for help. PseudoBot (talk) 13:33, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked?[edit]

And yet there's no notice on the talk page. Well done on blocking the entire NHS. --194.176.105.147 (talk) 10:40, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The NHS is quite big, you might like to divide the annoyance by several 100 000 and then leave it unblocked.
