Thank you for your question. This is one way articles get improved on Wikipedia. I changed the format of your question (just removed the (reply) button and made your question the first section of the talk page. This way another user can reply to your post in the same section by indenting one space to the right by typing a : as the first character and starting a reply or comment. Or user can start a new topic by adding a new section by tapping the + tab between the (Edit) tab and the (View history) tab at the top of the page.

Examples—I began this line with one :
and this line with two colons
and this line with three.

you can reply to my post by starting your reply by beginning with one : as the first character of the line after my signature. — Neonorange (talk to Phil) (he, they) 08:24, 9 March 2022 (UTC) —[reply]

Or you can just tap the (reply) button just after my signature and the Wikipedia software will do the indentation like this. — Neonorange (talk to Phil) (he, they) 08:27, 9 March 2022 (UTC) — Neonorange (talk to Phil) (he, they) 08:27, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You probably have noticed my signature by now. Simple signatures are usually best. I have always had the same user name though I made my first dozen or so edits before registering an account. For years my signature was all black characters. Then I noticed that finding your own posts to a long thread—which can be dozens of posts long—if you use color.
Registering an account has several advantages:
  1. 1 you can pick a user name that makes you completely anonymous by hiding your ip address— your ip address can be Geotraced to the general vicinity of your location (within 20 miles or so in my case
  2. 2 you can set up a watch list of articles so that you automatically can see when changes to articles you contribute to or to which you have posted on the talk page are made (this is a private list, not a notification
  3. 3 you have the ability to use tools that make editing easier
  4. 4 your number of edits can be accumulated—this allows you to edit more articles (some articles are restricted to editors with fewer than ten edits, a small number are restricted to editors with fewer than five hundred edits, a very few articles are restricted to any editor who is not an administrator—some of these articles are restricted because of persistent vandalism (usually the silly kind), some because the subjects are controversial (the Palestine-Israel conflict) or (post-1992 politics in the United States) or (Acupuncture) and some because editors are warring over content—reverting content so much that an article can not be improved (there is a hard limit to how many time the same editor can revert—3 times per 24 hour, though twice per 24 hours is recommended and if an editor has show a pattern, that editor can be sanctioned. The best way to improve an article and avoid edit warring is discussed at WP:BRD
  5. 5 there may be more reasons, but at the moment, nothing occurs to me.
Generally you can avoid conflict and enjoy editing here is by remaining calm, thinking twice before pressing the (Publish) button, start off editing articles that you have some knowledge, reading the talk page of articles that might be considered controversial (by some editors), try to edit some articles each day which you really enjoy improving and at which, as evidenced by the talk page, the regular editors get along well—that's about it from me.
Finally, you can post questions to my talk page by tapping on the talk page part of my talk page or you may type the characters {{help me}} on a new section of your talk page—a friendly and knowledgable editor will post a reply that offers help; an editor that very likely knows much more than I know.
Again, welcome to Wikipedia
