Mesopotamia region in Argentina[edit]

According to the article, and to everything I've ever seen, Mesopotamia is Entre Ríos, Corrientes, and Misiones - not Santa Fe, Chaco, and Formosa. The article was written when I got to it, but the original intent was to say that the three Mesopotamian provinces share certain characteristics with the next group of provinces to the west (which I've just edited it again to suggest). Do you like this way better? PhainetaiMoi (talk) 13:58, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I see now that you are right, and that Mesopotamia is Entre Ríos, Corrientes, and Misiones. Your first edit (and also your second) was perfectly valid, and I just had a brain fart. Your second edit is nice. I'm sorry for my mistake. 188.176.129.120 (talk) 00:30, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers - that happens to me too sometimes, and I'm glad you like the way it is now. PhainetaiMoi (talk) 17:46, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Anna Petronila Beneš[edit]

If you peruse the referenced marriage record, the surname is Beneš. Petronila is a middle given name.Eykeklos Omnia (talk) 09:24, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

County Town of Surrey?[edit]

Hi. The discussion I was thinking of is at the Guildford talk pge and is archived. My bad. I should have checked. I used to assume the same but Talk:Guildford/Archive 1#County Town makes this look uncertain. I think the status quo version "popularly considered" is adaquate rather than making an assertion that is dubious and unnecesary. If you want to change it please join the discussion.Charles (talk) 10:34, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. No problem with the not checking. My most recent change to the "Surrey" page's second paragraph was this:
Guildford was historically considered the county town of Surrey, and is still popularly considered to be the county town. However, Surrey County Council is based in Kingston upon Thames, which since 1965 has been part of Greater London, meaning it is located outside the administrative area of Surrey. With a population of 1.1 million, Surrey is the third-most-populous county in the South East.
And just for reference, the paragraph originally said:
The county town is popularly considered to be Guildford although Surrey County Council is based in Kingston upon Thames, which since 1965 has been a part of Greater London. With a population of 1.1 million, Surrey is the third-most-populous county in the South East.
After having read the discussion at the "Guildford" talk page, I see that the whole question is rather complex. Would you object to the following phrasing?
Guildford is popularly considered the county town of Surrey. However, Surrey County Council is based in Kingston upon Thames, which since 1965 has been part of Greater London, meaning it is located outside the administrative area of Surrey. With a population of 1.1 million, Surrey is the third-most-populous county in the South East.
Thank you for reaching out to me.188.176.129.120 (talk) 12:26, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Peaceray. I noticed that you recently removed content from Ludhiana without adequately explaining why. Sorry[edit]

Sorry for removing your Sherlock Holmes canon images in the process of cleaning up the Canon of Sherlock Holmes. TuckerResearch (talk) 19:07, 16 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, it was an honest mistake. But thank you for acknowledging it.188.176.129.120 (talk) 20:27, 16 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Abortion survivor" category[edit]

Also, in relation to to your earlier question, meeting your Governor or legislator, in my experience, depends on your state's population. My U.S. state is on the lower-end of the list of populated states, so I've met my Governor several times, my House Representative, and other State legislators. (Decided to respond here on your talk page per WP:FORUM.) Nice4What (talk) 00:27, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Nice4What: Not to read you the RIOT act, but this seems like a violation of WP:Canvassing. I can see this is a good faith effort to notify an interested in this topic area, though. However, please refrain from inviting users to participate based solely on the opinions they hold. MJLTalk 02:21, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you![edit]

The Original Barnstar
My apologies for reverting your change on Heartbeat bill. As other IP editors may be able to tell you, IP discrimination is a real thing. I am rather surprised that not only have I made such error myself, but I reverted a constructive edit in the course of this process. You have my humblest apologies. Thank you for all your wonderful work and your insightful comments! –MJLTalk 02:05, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Sophiajoanne: What are you talking about? This edit did not seem all that problematic to me. –MJLTalk 04:48, 30 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@MJL: I'm not sure but the user seems to added unnecessary words into the article (Refer to [1]. However is this just worth a revert and not a warning? If you think it's not worth a warning I can revert the warning.Sophiajoanne (talk) 05:10, 30 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Sophiajoanne: I'd just strike out the warning and/or {{hat}} this conversation, but yeah. The user is somewhat established (see my barnstar to them) and the contribution was made more than two weeks ago. Either way, reverting now probably would probably lead to confusion. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯MJLTalk 05:15, 30 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
