September 2020[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Tomb Raider: Underworld has been reverted.
Your edit here to Tomb Raider: Underworld was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.vgchartz.com/games/game.php?id=23921, https://www.vgchartz.com/games/game.php?id=23915, https://www.vgchartz.com/games/game.php?id=21884, https://www.vgchartz.com/games/game.php?id=21885, https://www.vgchartz.com/games/game.php?id=32603) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:13, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page signatures[edit]

Per WP:SIGN, "Comments posted on user talk pages, article talk pages and other discussion pages must be properly signed." If you do not sign your talk page entries, the system or other editors may do so for you. Removed signatures will be replaced.

Signing your posts "is required and facilitates discussion by identifying the author of a particular comment. Other users can then navigate to a talk page and address their comments to the specific, relevant user(s). Discussion is an important part of collaborative editing, because it helps all users to understand the progress and evolution of a work." - SummerPhDv2.0 18:56, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is Shadow Force: Razor Unit really GoldSrc?[edit]

You added "Shadow Force: Razor Unit" to the GoldSrc article, listing it as using the GoldSrc engine. I cannot find any evidence in the references on that page that it does indeed use this engine. Can you please add a good reference? --DanielPharos (talk) 22:40, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I did some digging. I couldn't find any reference to Valve or GoldSrc in the executable, so I reverse engineered the archive format. While the game does use techniques similar to GoldSrc, the map format does not appear compatible with GoldSrc. While it's very possible (even likely) that Fun Labs was inspired by Half-life 1, it doesn't appear that they used the GoldSrc engine. I'm removing it for now, but if you find a good reference, please do add it back! --DanielPharos (talk) 14:58, 20 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
