Happy editing! Sorry to see that you had a bad experience at Maltese. I find the result to be unthinking and cliquish. You ran into an unexpected buzz saw. Personally, I am not that fond of the breed, but that has nothing to do with how the article should be structured and sourced.
Unfortunately, those things sometimes happen. I hope it doesn't sour you on editing. I suggest you get an account and try your hand elsewhere. Cheers.
I might add that Leonberger and Bernese Mountain Dog are articles I worked on a lot. On the other hand, the crap that is going on at Mountain dog (which I created) and watched as it was systematically destroyed, shows that Malta is not alone.
