Question of List

Considering you've gotten more FL's than me and understand the process and what makes an FL more than me, I want to get your opinion on a list before I create it and put it on FLC. It is List of ROH World Champions. I've been working on it in a subpage. Sources are a bit hard to find that are not ROH, but dear God do the ones I have tell everything you need to know. It is located at User:Wrestlinglover/Sandbox 3. I wanted to get your opinion if it will pass. I have three general refs and only two specific, with one just being a reused general ref to make sure somethings were sourced off the bat. Two general refs are a lists of title holders, with the one directly from ROH giving all the champions, their successful defenses, title names, and when it was unified with the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship. While the last general ref is a list of all of ROH's event results. All PPVs and DVD events. The specific refs are the ROH Title history from ROH that I used to source directly the unification of the Pure championship, the current champion, and the name change. The last one is How Pro Wrestling works, which you probably know what is used for. That is it, I don't think I need anymore sources. I've got notes and everything else I've done for the tag and x title lists done, but considering I've got a low amount of refs, I wanted an experienced opinion first.--WillC 06:13, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Title Lists

Gavyn Sykes recommended I should ask you, but Gavyn reverted some edits of mine when removing excessive wikilinks to the same article page at List of World Heavyweight Champions (WWE). All other FLs like the IC title history are in accordance with the overlinking guideline. When I asked him, he said you knew more about the consensus. Can you clarify? Re: Newsletter

Actually on my browser, it is a lot bigger on the rught side than the left, which is why I change it. And I'm changing it this week as well. On my browser, when the right side is bigger than left column, the wording in the left column starts to run on past the dividing line, meaning you can't read part of it. I'm sure I'm not the only person who receives this newsletter who has this browser, so I change it if it needs it. Well, I have been contacted by people about the newsletter, most likely because my name is usually listed first on the contributors section, because of the alphabetical order, so in that case I think it's useful. I also don't see "other newsletter don't do this" as a valid rationale. We are not other newsletters, we do not have to conform to their stylistic purposes, and nor should we strive to. Well I was trying to think of another name for the section but just couldn't figure out anything good. I only state two things, the unification and the title being called a world championship, which we really need to move World Heavyweight Championship to the slang article. I was thinking about adding a section on the Ultimate X match, so people understand the X Division a bit more. Or just give a section about speciality matches this title is defended in. IT WAS USED IN THE WWE'S RECAP PACKAGE FOR THE SHOW ITSELF THEREFORE IT IS TECHNICALLY OFFICAL!!! Hi, Truco. I wasn't aware that it was not OK to notify members of a WikiProject of an ongoing FLC, and ask them to review it (just review, not support). To me, it seemed logical to notify them because people from an article's WikiProject are likely to be familiar with the topic and are thus the most apt to do content-related comments. Anyway, I'm sorry if my actions violated any policy of which I wasn't aware. I will no longer notify WikiProject members when submitting an FLC in the future. I left a comment about the issue on the list's FLC page, so that FL directors are fully informed of everything when they decide to close the nomination. If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
