Speedy deletion nomination of Hiding on the internet[edit]

Hello Trevguy117,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Hiding on the internet for deletion because the article appears to be about something that you or someone you know personally invented, coined, or discovered, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important—that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hi, I've moved the content out of mainspace to your userspace at User:Trevguy117/Hiding on the internet, since it seems to have been (accidentally?) drafted as part of the course. If you ever want to delete that page, just use WP:U1. Thanks, ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 05:17, 9 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi! From your topic it looks like you want to write about anonymity on the internet? If so, then here are some topic areas you may want to look into:
  1. Anonymous post
  2. Anonymous web browsing
  3. Facebook real-name policy controversy
There's also a category page you may want to look into, to see if any of the pages appeal to you: Category:Internet privacy. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:26, 9 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Trevguy117,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Kges1901 and it's nice to meet you:-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Trevguy117/sandbox, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept, either in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. At any case, please consider improving the page to address the issues raised or it may be deleted later anyway.

If you have any questions, leave a comment here and ping me.

Feedback on contribution[edit]

Hi, I noticed that one of your contributions was in danger of being deleted. The issue was that you moved it into "article space" when it was not ready yet. I've moved it back to your "user space" sandbox so that you can keep working on and developing your topic. You can find the draft here: User:Trevguy117/sandbox. Thanks, Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:55, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hidden On the Internet moved to draftspace[edit]

A page you recently created, Hidden On the Internet, appears to be more of an essay than an article and I've therefore moved it to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Hidden On the Internet[edit]

Hello, Trevguy117. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Hidden On the Internet".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CptViraj (📧) 06:18, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
