Request reason:

Hello. You just banned for raising an issue in a civil manner. An issue I am concerned with as a casual browser of the net. You called me a troll, a possible sock puppet...without absolutely any evidence to back it up, any chance for me to defend myself or my actions. I came here to contribute to Wikipedia by righting something I saw as a potential wrong and now I have become victim of the same wrong that Neiln told me doesn't happen without thurough technical investigating. Please anyone reading this help me against this injustice. Thanks... It's hard for me to write anything more since I don't know how things work anymore and Im even using copypaste from different articles to try and ping relevant users to this discussion. Berean Hunter If you can read this please come and see and help me, thanks. edit: Also because Wikipedia is built around all this terminology I went and looked at what I was accused off in terms of "not wanting to contribute" and in fact it is completely inconsistent with my behaviour. So not only is Bbb23 attacking me using completely unvalidated accusations of sockpuppetry or trolling but also under the headline "What "not here to build an encyclopedia" is not" it clearly says that what I do is commendable behaviour: " {{ Focusing on particular processes A user may have an interest in creating stubs, tagging articles for cleanup, improving article compliance with the Manual of Style, or nominating articles for deletion. These are essential activities that improve the encyclopedia in indirect ways. Many "behind the scenes" processes and activities are essential to allow tens of thousands of users to edit collectively. Not every editor needs to perform "on stage", by creating articles and drafting new guidelines. Some articles do not belong in Wikipedia, others should be improved, and new articles are often appropriately created in an unfinished state. Advocating amendments to policies or guidelines The community encompasses a very wide range of views. A user may believe a communal norm is too narrow or poorly approaches an issue, and take actions internally consistent with that viewpoint, such as advocating particular positions in discussions. Provided the user does so in an honest attempt to improve the encyclopedia, in a constructive manner, and assuming the user's actions are not themselves disruptive, such conversations form the genesis for improvement to Wikipedia." }} So this fellow should have his admin or mod privileges examined if he is this fast on the trigger with someone who is "Expressing unpopular opinions" concerning the issues above. If they even are unpopular opinions...The little ferry (talk) 11:42 am, Today (UTC−4)

Decline reason:

Unwilling to drop the stick. Wikipedia is not a democracy or an exercise in free speech. NeilN talk to me 16:26, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I have two questions:

  • What kind of edits do you plan to make if unblocked? Do you plan to do something constructive, or do you only plan to keep discussing the perceived injustice of WP:SOCK policy?
  • Please, list all the accounts you were using previously. Vanjagenije (talk) 15:58, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict) The road you were going down on Wikipedia talk:Sockpuppet investigations was a dead end. Checkusers confirmed sockpuppetry and we don't allow sock or meat puppetry here. Period. Realizing this, what else are you going to edit if you are unblocked? --NeilN talk to me 16:00, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

First of all I am going to ask if I am presumed innocent until proven guilty here or if you operate under some other rules. Second of all I am going to ask what rules I broke (which necessitated a direct, permanent ban especially). I feel as an injustice has been done upon me and feel no need to validate my intentions to you. Though if you treat me with respect I will treat you with the same and explain them later.
Please be aware that you told me, and are telling me again that checkusers confirmed sockpuppetry. This is supposedly a serious issue and one as you told me that users are banned for unless this thurough technical investigation is conducted. How can you then sit idly by while one of your collagues blocks a civil user as myself (this is why lawyers exist, talking about oneself in this way seems pathetic :/ ) without taking issue with his actions first and not questioning my actions. You told me yourself that these bans do not happen without thurough investigations. You are telling me this again. Yet you sit idly by while your colaugue does it to me without any proof. How can I or anyone else then be sure if what you are saying is right. The little ferry (talk) 16:16, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, no. Yegad. Please drop the stick and back away from the encyclopedia. Looks like pure and simple trolling to the point of disruption. That is wp:NOTHERE behavior. Please answer Vanjagenije's and NeilN's questions above. Please be aware that further disruption may result in removal of talk page access. Good luck on casting aspersions against Bbb23. That will surely deepen your hole. Thanks --Dlohcierekim (talk) 16:09, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I know, I understand it is an unwise move to poke power. But I have always done so and I think that it is highly healthy for any good and democratic society or organisation. Although I have not been a member of this wikipedia for many years and my IP edits are far and few between I tend to latch onto any issue in society where apparent injustice is being done to seek to rectify that. Telling me that pointing the finger at someone who unjustly banned me is wrong and will diminish my chances speaks volume of the injustice itself, nothing else. According to the rules I cited, the actions that I took do not constitute "not contributing to the Wikipedia" but are in fact commendable and I quote " the genesis for improvement to Wikipedia.". Now you can obviously choose to be partial or impartial. I leave that up to you as I have no power here. The little ferry (talk) 16:16, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Again, mind your bearing. You are perilously close to rocky shoals. If you hit the rocks, you will need to make appeals via Wikipedia:Unblock Ticket Request System.--Dlohcierekim (talk) 16:22, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • (Edit conflict when attempting to decline the latest unblock request)... I see no hint of any intention to help us build an encyclopedia here, and no sign of listening to anything you have been told either here or elsewhere - so I have revoked talk page access. See WP:UTRS if you wish to make a further appeal (but do not abuse that facility, or you could lose access to it too). Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 16:31, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
